Let's Get to Work
Coach Kelly Sheffield from Wisconsin is an amazing person, wonderful family man and a great coach. He understands his players, expects a lot from them, but he also puts in his time. The Badger plan is is quite simple. But first let's set aside their size in his front row players. Now circle back to serving and passing. Wisconsin is relentless on serving and passing and blocking. It's something they practice continuously with his famous 5 before 3 drill. The 5 before 3 that pits servers on one side of the net against passers on the other side. This drill emphasizes not only skills but skills for a sustained amount of time. The object of the drill is to make a string of good plays, not just one at a time. Managing wins in volleyball relies heavily on making continuous string of plays or runs, 3 to 5 is ideal to win consistently. If they don't get good passing, you can have all the height on the court, it'll do you no good.

Let's breakdown your passing and make you a valuable player to your coach and team.
